In addition to plants and gardening, Marcia has a passion for everything outdoors. She has a degree in Outdoor Recreation and Environmental Education from the University of Oregon. She taught the Mycology class (study of mushrooms) at Lane Community college for 10 years. And, had the privilege of co-founding the Cascade Mycological Society with Freeman Rowe.
